Blog posts are vehicles for companies and individuals to get information to their readers. Some blogs create their own content because there really isn’t a website; the blog is the website. Some companies that have general websites pay professionals to write either related or general information for their blogs, which are secondary to their websites. For Vic’s Tree Service, we have a general website, and the blog posts serve to provide additional information as well as insight into our philosophy and general love of trees.
No one that works at Vic’s Tree Service is overly, or even a little bit tech savvy. For years, we paid companies to manage the website, and a few actually wrote sort of related blog posts. After wasting lots of money trying to get the website to rank in Google or where ever else people search, getting banned from Google because someone we paid did shady practices, getting hacked multiple times, and ultimately getting minimal results, we decided to create a new website and write the blog posts in house.
We write all of the content and take all of the pictures for the blog. We don't use stock photos and we never will. Does our blog have that finished polished look you would get from a web designer? Probably not, but it also doesn’t have irrelevant content either. The blog is designed to provide the reader with real time information about trees. The situations and trees are real, and they are similar to what someone might experience with their own trees. We hope that you gain a little knowledge from reading some of our blog posts, and that you get a better understanding of our philosophy and commitment to safety, quality work, and “framing nature’s art”.
